Retiring a classic airliner from active service is an emotive experience .

Further emotions are never be spared when an aircraft makes a last flight to  scrap metal dealers for eventual destruction and possible conversion into metal for mineral water cans
 
A DC6 B airliner abandoned in South Africa has been spared of this ignaminious fate.
AirReports has followed the progress of preparing this aircraft to make possibly it's last flight......
