Ethiopian Airlines joins 777 Component Services Program

Ethiopian Airlines has become the thirteenth carrier to join the 777 Component Services Program, for its 777-200LR (Longer Range) jetliners, Boeing announced Tuesday at the MRO Africa trade show in Johannesburg. "The CSP offers Ethiopian Airlines significant efficiencies and savings in managing our supply chain by reducing our investment in costly parts inventories," said Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde Gebremariam. Boeing and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance jointly offer the CSP, which commits to provide parts within 24 hours of a request.
